We're only just a few days before we celebrate Easter and we have already been witnessing the Easter bunny craze from shops, to restaurants even family homes. There's nothing better than enjoying quality time with family and friends at home during the holidays. It feels even cosier in an environment that has been decked out to embrace the event. It's time to hunt shop and put together amazing decorations that will infuse your home with that holiday spirit.

As an added bonus these DIY Easter ideas are a great way to spend time with loved ones especially if you have children or young relatives or simply are looking for an excuse to do some art & crafts.

SHAVE CREAM EASTER EGGS

Take an ordinary product to decorate a whole array of marbelized Easter eggs. You only need some natural food colouring or some dye to design on a bed of plain shaving cream. Then roll some hard-boiled eggs over the surface to create this cool multi-colour effect. Let the eggs dry and gently clean to remove any extra shaving cream.

WATERCOLOUR EASTER EGGS

A very inexpensive way to decorate Easter eggs is by using watercolour paints. For an amazing marble egg, use a round brush and create a two-tone effect by adding water to the original colour and stamping on the second round of dots.

FRUIT & VEGETABLE EGGS

Take small hard-boiled eggs and dip them to one solid colour. Add details with a permanent marker to make them look like your fave fruit or veggie. Add a personalised message from someone in your family, and make this an extra individual affair.

Happy Mother's Day! To celebrate the day, we recently caught up with new mummy and fashion blogger Vaida. She is the author of the blog Fashion Addicted and the Instagram account @fashionbyvaida, where she documents her adventures in fashion, beauty travelling and of course parenting. Read her interview below and find out the best Mother's Day gifts she suggests on her exclusive list below.

What compelled you to start your own fashion & lifestyle blog?

I started my fashion career as a model but it just wasn’t for me.  Despite that I still was into fashion very much. After constantly being approached by girls and asked where I bought one or another item I decided to create fashion blog and share all my outfit details there.

What do you enjoy most about the creative process?

Even it’s hard work I enjoy every bit of it. From creating an outfit to posting it on the blog/Instagram and all the bits in between: looking for beautiful spots to shoot, posing or creating a flatlay, taking pictures, editing them. And the most enjoyable thing is to get positive reactions from my readers.

What are the challenges and also the benefits of being a freelance content creator and influencer especially being a new mum?

I love being independent, I can work cosily on my sofa watching my baby playing around. I think that’s the best thing. However being a mum and freelancing has cons too. I am limited to attend various events and sometimes plans can be changed because of my babies needs.

What are your non-negotiables regarding your wellness routine?

Having a bath with lot’s of bubbles, candles and relaxing music on Sundays is my best wellness time.

How would you describe your personal style? Can you give us an example by styling your go-to outfit featuring your favourite brands?

In one word I would say it’s elegant. I usually choose classic pieces. Mango white suit with Gucci handbag and Zara heels.

What are your new mum lifesaver products that you can't live without?

Mama Mio products are wonderful for both mums to be and new mums.

You're always travelling. Which one of your recent destinations was the most memorable to you and why?

Probably the best memories are from Mauritius (we got married there) and Thailand. Everything is so different there, nature is mesmerising, people are relaxed and the food is super delicious.

What are you working on at the moment? Do you have any specific goals for this year?

I have Build a Bear project coming up. I am going with my boy to Build a Bear workshop to create Easter bunny. I am sure we will have a lot of fun. I have also few beauty and fashion projects coming up soon so keep your eyes peeled and follow my blog Fashion Addicted and Instagram account @fashionbyvaida

Eyes are the nipples of the face, according to the film 'house bunny', so how do you make them pop? There isn't a one-size fits all when it comes to highlighting your eye colour, because different shades illuminate some colours but can dull others.

Dear all annoying Facebook couples,

You may not realise that you're doing it, but hopefully after this article you'll get some home truths. Because you guys are literally the worst. For the love of god no-one cares that it's your two month anniversary, or what you have for dinner every night, or that you really really love each other. We get it. It doesn't make anyone go "awww" more like "why are the so insecure they have to post it everywhere on social medial". Ok, we care if you get engaged, or buy a puppy or have a child, but that's it. And when those events happen, we only need one status and one picture. Okuuur?

So please, please, stop doing the following things and ruining Facebook for the rest of us:

1) Oversharing.

You know there's this magical thing called a text message. Did you know that you don't need to tell all your FB friends that you "had the best night ever with my boo". It actually means more if you just tell the person it's aimed at.

2) Kissing Selfies.

Please make them stop!! I don't want to see a close up shot of your tongues in each other's mouths. One, on say, your wedding day is acceptable. But a whole album worth from random nights at home isn't.

3) The On-Off Relationship Updates.

We're not 13 and in school, updating your status to "single" or "complicated" every time you and your beau have a domestic is really unnecessary. Every couple argues, you don't have to tell the whole world about it.

4) Pet-Names.

Pet-names should be reserved for the privacy of your own home. Referring to your other half as "my pumpkin", "bae", "angel face", "honey bunny" etc on Facebook is truly vomit inducing. MY EYES. MAKE IT STOP.

5) Commenting On Everything The Other Does.

We all know you guys are probably sat next to each other. This isn't benefitting your partner, it's merely you trying to rub it in all your single friend's faces that you're loved up. No-one cares. Seriously.

Halloween culture is catching on pretty rapidly in India since the past few years, and nowadays most of us get to attend at least one Halloween party. However, if you want something for which you don't need to go out and buy costumes, you're in the right place!

Check out some of the best Halloween ideas we've curated, for which you won't need anything more than you already have.

Skull face
This is an easy one that can be done with face paint or even regular makeup. To go a step further, follow this tutorial, and do a melting face where half your face is regular, fleeky makeup, and the other half is a skull. So cool!

Cute bunny
Simply buy a cheap set of bunny ears, dress in your cutest lacy top/dress in white or a pastel pink/peach, and do some pretty, pink-themed makeup (including a little pink on the tip of your nose, and some whiskers) for a super easy costume.

Morticia Addams or Wednesday Addams
If you love black clothing, chances are that you have a black maxi dress lying around somewhere. So simply straighten and slick down your hair in a middle parting, follow this easy makeup tutorial, and you're all set! If a top and knee-length skirt are more your speed, go for that instead of the dress, tie your hair into two braids, and ta-da—you're Morticia's equal iconic daughter, Wednesday.

Fortune teller
This one's super easy, especially if you (or a friend/sister you can borrow stuff from) has a very boho style. Wear a boho maxi skirt, a peasant top, wrap a dupatta or scarf as a turban around your head like this, throw on some funky necklaces and loads of rings. Done!

Nerd
This is another super easy one. Throw on a high-waisted skirt, tuck a white shirt into it, wear knee socks and Mary Janes, throw on a pair of nerd glasses, and carry around a few books for effect. Easy, isn't it?

Ahh the 90s. Just thinking about it gives me waves of nostalgic joy. The Spice Girls, customised denim, hair mascara, The Spice Girls, body glitter, butterfly hair clips, The Spice Girls... you get the picture.

The 90s for me also conjure up memories of THE best teen films to grace our screens. Forget this weepy, romantic sh*t we're drip fed now, back in the day we made cult classics. Hell, I'll even extend that to the 80s- Teen Witch is effing incredible. The fashion, the properly hot hunk- oh yes!

So, it was with some trepidation that I learned my beloved Cruel Intentions is to have a sequel TV series focusing on Sebastian and Anette's offspring (one time was all it took, huh guys?) and something about Kathryn fighting for control of an empire.

Sounds pretty snoozy to me, but with Sarah Michelle Gellar signed up to reprise her role, it could be worth a punt. For me it's a classic of its time, so if you haven't watched it yet (where have you been, on Mars?) here's 5 reasons why Cruel Intentions was the best teen flick of the decade...

1. It. Was. Hot. AF. Ryan Phillippe (every girl's wet dream in the late 90s) full on naked, one of the hottest sex scenes this side of R-rated, soft core incest and the lesbian spit-filled kiss. What do we get today? Fifty Shades of soft. Pass.

2. It was basically a prequel to Gossip Girl. Chuck Bass is Sebastian; all bad boy done good because of a girl, even if Blair is downright more bitchy than Annette, the parallels are obvious.

3. Sarah Michelle Gellar was just on the right side of bunny boiler and I absolutely loved her. She's the reason I bought a cross chain (sans coke, obvs) and thought corsets as outerwear were a good idea.

4. The ending was so smug and just epic. My favourite song to this day- Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve was the perfect accompaniment to *spoiler alert* Kathryn's ruin at the hands of Cecile and Annette.

5. We've already established my love for The Verve, but seriously the soundtrack to this film was so on point. Blur, Fatboy Slim, Placebo and Counting Crows (Colourblind- you know the song I mean. Wink wink, nudge nudge).
