I really like freckles, I personally think that people with freckles just looks so youthfull and almost whimsical. That's why I always love when a makeup artist cheats this look for a photoshoot like in this picture. It's very easy to do, just take a soft brown pencil and draw a few spots along your nose bridge, cheeks, and even your chin is you want to. Blend the faux freckles a little bit with your fingers and then dust translucent powder to set them in place. This is what i call a very lashy makeup look. Kourtney is well known for her beautiful monochromatic makeup with neutral shades. She always has some kind of brown shade on her eyes, soft contour and bronzer and nude lips, but what really stand out in this look against her usual ones are her lashes. I love how her makeup artist uses no fake lashes and instead, he focused on enhancing her natural ones, to create this spidery look that makes her eyes pop soo much! photo credit: @byrdie on twitter #beauty #makeup #kourtneykardashian #look

Now that summer’s in full swing – well, more or less – we’re looking to our favourite beauty bloggers for new tips on how to get our glow on. Achieving the perfect sun-kissed make-up look is an art form and there are a few tricks you’ll need to know before you nail it.

One of these beauty hacks is embracing the humble freckle. Freckles are unique, beautiful and should never be covered up – just take a hint from Meghan Markle who proudly makes hers the focus of her look, wherever she goes.

If you’re lucky enough to have a sprinkling of real freckles then opt for a foundation offering lighter coverage, a glowy primer or simple concealer to blend any redness or dark circles out while letting those freckles shine through.

Be sure to use a moisturiser or make-up with SPF and dot over any freckles you want to accentuate with an eyebrow pencil in a neutral shade.

If you don’t have freckles, worry not because it’s easy to fake it. For the perfect faux glow, all you’ll need are a few products. Just do your make-up as you usually would and make sure you have a smooth, well-moisturised base to work on.

Then, with a little brown eyeshadow, a pencil or a dab of concealer in a darker shade than your natural skin tone, dot a few clusters over the bridge of your nose and across your cheeks.

Start small and build up using a brush, depending on how subtle a look you want to go for. Finally, dust off with some setting powder and a little bronzer. To supercharge your look for summer, sweep a little gold-toned highlighter over the tops of your cheekbones and dot a little at the tip of your nose.

Polka dots have made an unexpected comeback this summer and we're not mad about it. No longer synonymous with '50s fancy dress and the frocks in the back of your granny's wardrobe, the dotty dress is a must-have piece.

Hitting the runway and the high street in cool iterations – see Johanna Ortiz' ruffled off-shoulder style and vacay-ready designs muted brown, yellow and green from the likes of Oscar de la Renta, Nasty Gal and River Island – we've seen all our favourite influencers rocking the trend.

Want to know how to rock a statement dotted dress and channel your inner Julia Roberts a la Pretty Woman? Browse our gallery for outfit inspiration and shop our favourite outfits from the edit below...

(sin asunto) Maria J Ortega a M hace 40 minutos Detalles Olivia Culpo is such a fashionista she always hits the street with such great outfits. The bat sleeves in her top are the main stars on her outfit, but it's really cool how the head to toe leather look gives her this spy or superhero vibe.  who else love and all leather outfit? Photo Credit: @oliviaculpo on twitter #fashion #leather #outfit #look   KkW Beauty is launching new highlighter palettes and in most of the beauty campaign for highlighters, the models always have a very natural or neutral makeup looks in order to show the glow of the product.  But I love how in this photo the girl wears that gorgeous cobalt eyeshadow and a brown terracotta lip and still don't overshadow the blingy effect of the highlight on her skin.  It's great to see a different vision for beauty campaigns.  photo credit: @kkwbeauty on twitter  #beauty #makeup #look #kwwbeauty  I like when Instagram makeup has a touch of simplicity  So this makeup look by @iluvsarahii really speaks to me.  The rose gold eyeshadow all over her eyelid with not too much shading on her crease and the strong burgundy lip, show us that sometimes we don't need to to create crazy techniques or looks to stand out these days.  photo credit: @iluvsarahii on twitter  #beauty #makeup #instagood #look  As a true Real Madrid fan, I watch the champions league final match and I was pleasantly surprised to see Dua Lipa's performance outfit.  At first, it looks kind of weird to me, mixing the holograph silver with white and sparkly ruffle. But, performing in a big arena as a football stadium I understand that dua want to stand out without using vibrant or neon color.  And I think her wardrobe always reflect her personality very well! photo credit: @duasexuaI on twitter  #dualipa #championsligue #outfit #music  I thought that summer pajamas wasn't a time but victoria secret prove me wrong.  I love, love the design of this PJs!  The top is like a nighttime worthy crop top, perfect for hot summer nights, the fabric looks very fresh and light and that blue palm trees against the pink background is an amazing color combo.  photo credit: @victoriasecret on twitter  #victoriasecret #summer #fashion #pajamas

Wedding season is here, but if you’re not quite ready to give Meghan and Harry a run for their money – and let’s face it, who can afford to cater for 600 people? – you might want to consider a few shortcuts. We caught up with Fern Godfrey, Editor of the UK’s biggest Wedding blog Rock My Wedding, to discover her tips for planning your dream day on a budget…

What do you love most about being the Editor of Rock My Wedding? Rock My Wedding was founded by Charlotte O’Shea in 2009, when she was planning her own wedding, it’s grown hugely since then and we’re now a team of 10. I’ve been Editor at Rock My Wedding since 2015 and I absolutely love my job.

We get to share people’s love stories every single day, work with beautiful flowers and dresses, and champion incredible wedding suppliers with our directory, The List. The best bit is seeing the wedding photographs of brides who have read RMW religiously while planning their own weddings –- it’s such a great feeling.

What do you find are the most popular wedding themes?

We feature a lot of rustic luxe weddings -– industrial and agricultural buildings with lots of exposed brick and lofty beams, filled with flowers and candles. This theme works beautifully for weddings across Europe as we have so many incredible historic and working buildings to use. The weather in the UK doesn’t always allow for the amazing outdoor celebrations we feature from France, Italy and Spain, but all of the weddings we blog are amazing in their own unique way.

How can one plan a beautiful wedding on a budget?

If you want to save money while planning your big day, then the key thing is decide on what is important to you as a couple. If you chose the areas you’re going to spend on, then you can try to save on the others.

Do you really need wedding favours? Can you serve canapés as a starter and wedding cake as your dessert? Have you considered a Spotify play list rather than a band? Do you really need a pair of designer shoes? If flowers aren’t important to you, then use local foliage and seasonal blooms. The one thing we’d always recommend spending on is professional photographs and a film – these things will allow you to remember your big day forever and so they are the most important part.

Can you share any useful DIY tips?

We’ve created a couple of floral DIY’s for Rock My Wedding readers. The first is a chair back arrangement to take your seating to the next level. The other is for a classic flower crown – these are very popular with boho bridesmaids, especially at cool, rustic weddings out in the countryside, but you can use any kind of flower to achieve the look and feel you want. There are plenty of examples on the Rock My Wedding Instagram feed.

As an expert, what would you pack for a destination wedding?

As a wedding guest? A floral maxi dress, a wide brimmed hat and some sunglasses. As the bride? A soft and flowing gown, some pretty sandals and lots of Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder.

Shop Fern’s edit for the perfect pieces to make your day special, whatever your budget and wherever you’re heading to tie the knot…

Yes, we're already reaching the mid of May meaning more sunlight, more time for exposed legs and a time for a slight change in wardrobe. These changes include footwear, and though we should be in sandals season, this time it's all about ankle boots and their many variations: Flat, heeled, leather and suede, print or plain.

Flat boots

The flat ankle boot is probably the easiest way to be comfy chic. If you don't believe me just ask a few flat ankle aficionados like Alexa Chung and Sienna Miller. Follow in their footsteps and team them with midi skirts, long floral trousers or leggings.

Heeled boots

Part of your essentials are definitely a pair of impressive, leather heeled ankle boots. They are offered in a great variety of punky buckle boots, suede Western styles, vintage lace up booties, riding styles in metallics bright bold colours like red and purple but also look out for plain black, grey, brown or white.

Check our exclusive edit of ankle boots that you need to try this season...

Not literally blue eyes. Because even though we may want it so much, we just have to live with our same ol’ brown eyes…Yet, this season, celebs, bloggers and everyone who is someone is going crazy about a makeup trend. Blue eyeshadows! Either a electric blue mascara, light blue liner or turquoise eyeshadow. Anything blue is good. This style can turn any of your outfits into a statement. Just be sure to leave your lips nude! #blue #eyeshadow #makeup #eyemakeup #style #fashion #beauty

Every stylish woman worth her salt knows there’s no better way to elevate a simple look than with a classic Gucci bag, but Fifty Shaded actress Dakota Johnson was spotted rocking one that’s yet to dominate the fashion world.

It’s no secret that Dakota loves her Gucci so we were hardly surprised to see her carrying a tote with the signature red and green stripes. However, this style – the brown suede Re(Belle) tote bag – was something a little different.

We love the way she’s paired it with a low-key grey cashmere sweater and cropped jeans. Simple black mules offset the bag’s detailing effortlessly and make this look super spring appropriate.

We have a feeling the Gucci Re(Belle) bag is going to be a big hit with the style set this season. Want to steal Dakota’s off-duty look?
