After her 'how to do the Heidi braid' masterclass, beauty fanatic @polinaberdos is back with how to achieve the perfect smokey eye, with this brilliant video tutorial. Perfect when there is a bank holiday on the horizon...

"The smokey eye is such a classic because it always looks good. You can achieve the effect with any colour really, but usually it’s done with greys and blacks.

So for my smokey eye look I used a “smoked” palette from Urban Decay because it’s a perfect palette for creating any dramatic look.

I recommend using accent lashes if you want to make a cat eye shape, and finishing the look with accompanying nude lips, which will make your eyes pop."

For all you novice make-up artists, Illamasqua’s Precision Brow Gel is like a skeleton key for lock pickers. And for novice lock pickers, a skeleton key is like Illamasqua’s Precision Brow Gel for make-up artists. Make sense? Good.

Showing us how the latest brow beauty trends are really done, In this video, Fran from Channel 4's Made in Chelsea tries out three different brow styles using the same gel. With Illamasqua's very own Zoe Peplow showing us how, it won't be long before you start showing off your own mad skills in the brow beauty department!

The new brow gel from Illamasqua is so versatile that it’s going to make you want to lock your bedroom door and try everything from Cara Delevingne’s bushy browed look, to Kim Kardashian’s dark and defined look, to whatever - you get the point.

For the base, Fran used Illamasqua Hydra Veil, buffed the skin with Illamasqua Gleam in Aurora, then applied Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation in 10.5 and Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation in AU. On the eyes she used Illamasqua Masquara in Raven. Then for the three brow styles, here's what to use AND what to do:

1) Zoe used: Illamasqua Precision Brow Gel in Awe for the “Naturally Sculpted Look”.

Go easy on the product and be confident on the brow shape you want; there's nothing worse than channeling a set of weak, painted eyebrows! Just like Zoe's done for Fran here, use a fine lining brush to draw fine hairs through your natural brows.

2) Zoe used: Illamasqua Precision Brow Gel in Strike and Illamasqua Precision Brow Gel in Awe for the “Bushy Browed Look”.

To enhance the shape and colour of your brows with these bad babies, once again using the fine lining brush (and don't forget confident, steady hands!), apply the product to your brows only when your face is COMPLETELY relaxed. No raised eyebrow "make-up face" needed here! Unless you want colour in the wrong place. Keep as neutral a facial expression as possible.

3) Zoe used: Illamasqua Precision Brow Gel in Strike and Illamasqua Skin Base Lift in Medium 1 for the “Dark and Defined Look”.

Now, for the mother of all eyebrows, start to fill in colour from the CENTRE where the hairs are thicker and denser. Using light brush strokes in the direction of hair growth, work up then outwards to colour the eyebrows!

Say what you like about Kim Kardashian, the woman knows how to contour like a true pro! Thanks to Spectrum, you can too with their step by step guide.

Step 1: Start by creating a beautiful flawless base using Spectrum's 4 Piece contour set. Use the Flat Top Buffer to get an even all-over coverage using a cream or powder foundation, make sure use a slightly lighter tone for the central areas of the face to get a natural looking 'glow'.

Step 2:  Now, work with the Domed Buffer to give an airbrushed finish by lightly 'buffing' the skin all over. This is the best way to make sure the foundation layer is worked into the skin and will stay in place all day.

Step 3: To add depth to your cheekbones and under the jaw, use a darker tone than your natural skin colour, applied using the Angled Blush.

Step 4: Finally add the finishing touches with the Tulip Powder brush, adding a darker shade around the hairline and temples. Then, use a highlighter to sweep across the brow bone, nose, and chin.

Fancy winning yourself a set of Spectrum contour brushes with Shopcade? Just head over to our Twitter and Instagram pages for a chance to win! Best of luck, ladies.

Kylie's on-hand MUA Rob Scheppy has previously revealed that just like her sister Kim, Kylie loves to dust a bronzer under her cheek bones to enhance her facial features.

Now, thanks to the brush experts at Real Techniques, we have the kit to re-create her envious cheek bones, bronzed temples and flawless side profile!

Contouring has revolutionised the makeup industry and now Kylie has perfected the art for make-up lovers across the globe. Follow these simple steps to get the look:

1. Start with a primer to get a smooth skin base!

2. Apply your foundation using a sponge or foundation brush but make sure you apply lightly - you can always do a second layer for more coverage.

3. Take your Real Techniques sculpting brush, lightly roll the brush around your bronzer and proceed to gently brush under your cheek bones; starting from top of the ear towards your lips and finish inline with the edge of your eye. Proceed to blend the bronzer to create a soft 'shadow'.

4. To deepen the depth of your face, dust just under the edge of your jawbone and hairline with your brush.

5. Take your fan brush to sweep away any excess powder. After doing this, create the illusion of 'height' by using your fan brush to circle under each cheek with bronzer.

6. Creating the side profile is simple; using the fan brush, start at the inner point of each brow and glide down the side of your nose with bronzer. Be careful not to go to heavy (we don't want you sporting Disney villain look!).

7. Highlighting to finish the look, using your setting brush, take a highlighter either in cream or powder form. Apply your highlighter to the top of your cheek bones, along the top of your nose running up to the forehead and lastly across the under bone of each brow.

TAA-DA, you are now a sculpting pro!

The bigger the better: thanks to the likes of Cara Delevingne, Lily Collins and Keira Knightley, thick eyebrows have never been more in vogue than they are right now.

A throwback to the era of Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor, thick brows give you a strong, sexy look and steal the show when paired with smokey eyes and a nude lip.

However, for those of us who weren't blessed with such genes, this is where the problem starts. But thanks to the magic of make up, you can fake it till you make it!

There are plenty of 'How To' videos out there, but we love Alexis Kaymor's step by step tutorial in the video above. Be warned though, she will give you SERIOUS brow envy!

The Body Shop has come in with all new make-up, and we love their incredible new collection of eyeliners! It means creating that sharp flick or smouldering eye just got a whole lot easier!

Eyeliner can be used day and night, to compliment each look and highlight those gorgeous eyes of yours, here Body Shop gives us three eyes and three ways to wear them! Keep on reading to find out how...

Monolids

1. Prime your lids with the Instablur eye primer

2. Using the Gel Pen Liner or Bold Oversized Felt Liner, close your eye and line from the inner to outer edge. Go thick for a strong evening look or keep it simple for an everyday finish.

3. For extra drama line the lower lash aswell

Small Eyes

1. Line your upper lash line with the White Matte Kajal from the inner corner of your eye to about half way

2. Use the Gel Pen Liner to carry on from the middle and finish the line

3. Use the smudge brush to get an ombre effect and a wider eye

Tired Eyes

1. Draw a thin line under each brow with the White Matte Kajal, and blend downwards using the Smudging Brush, this lifts up your eye

2. Use the Skinny Felt Liner, and pointing in downwards trace your lash line outwards from the inner corner, getting a tight clean line

3. For a bolder look, build up the line from the outer corner of your eye, this is also a great way to get a sharp cat-eye flick

Want more of an eyeliner break-down? Here's a simple guide to find the line for you..

Gel Liner- Best for an everyday clean line, simple but defined and easy to build. Use it by warming up a thin point, or dampening it with a wipe to get a clean line

Liquid liner- Best for a dramatic and bold line, gives a sharp flick but less easy to build with, remember to wait to dry before opening your eye! Us it carefully, the edge of a credit card can be used to create that sharp flick

Pencil Liner- Best for your everyday make-up look, defines the eye and is easy to build on, use the smudging brush to get a more dramatic smouldering look

Shop all the products highlighted below, and wow the crowd!

Cara Delevingne, eat your heart out! Rihanna has totally stolen your crown when it comes to being Queen of the bushy brow.

Unveiling the, er, surprising image on her Instagram this week, she kind of looks like the lovechild of a 80s Madonna and Frida Kahlo, don’t you think?

In a tease for her new album, this is one her most striking styles yet and actually, it’s pretty cool. Yes, she’s baring her boobs again, but this time it could definitely be considered ART.

Get her look with our edit below… we’ve added nipple tassels because, well no-one wants to flash accidentally do they?! Plus they're much prettier than tit tape ;)
