Singer Camila Cabello has been treated to a stellar year professionally but her style is also captivating. She's known for her playful sense of style especially when she mixes designer pieces with high-street pieces. Whether  she's sporting exquisite gowns or a simple pair of jeans and a slogan tee she always infuses her individuality into her choices.

With a much anticipated new album dropping, Camilla made the rounds and once again showed us her flair for fashion. This time she paired a statement velvet coat by Nina Ricci with wide-legged trousers and a show-stopping striped top.

It's one of the best ways to do understated chic, if you ask us. She finished  her look with tinted retro-style sunnies and an oversized black leather bag with ring handles. She cleverly clashed the tones of  the navy coat and black leather belt with bright - blue  trousers.

We love singer Camila Cabello for her playful sense of style, especially her ability to mix designer pieces with cool, casual designs. Whether she’s rocking a bespoke gown or sporting jeans and a tee, Camila always finds a way to infuse her looks with personality.

With her new album dropping, Camila paid us a visit here in London and showcased her flair for fashion yet again, pairing a statement velvet coat by Nina Ricci with wide-leg trousers and a stand-out striped top. If ever there were a way to go bold while still looking effortlessly chic, this is it.

Completing the look with tinted vintage-style sunnies and a black leather bag with sleek ring handles, Camila had no problems turning heads on the streets of London. We love the clashing tones of the navy coat, simple black belt and bright-blue trousers.

Whether you're a fan or not unicorn makeup is having a serious moment. Long associated with music festival culture it describes anything pastel or holographic applied with some elementary school enthusiasm. The key theme here is fantasy and creativity and the freedom to interpret it as you wish. Today we have one more reason to sport this uncanny makeup as it's National Unicorn Day which is celebrated in the US and the UK, so it's the perfect day to get out the glitter and immerse in anything rainbow.

Many brands and beauty companies are taking their piece of the pie by releasing countless unicorn products from brushes to palettes and colours. If you simply search Unicorn Beauty you'll come across a series of iridescent, and fantasy-inspired goodies.

UNICORN MAKEUP TUTORIAL

Everything starts with a great blank canvas, so begin by applying a base to smooth and clear your complexion. Next, take that concealer to cover dark circles and treat blemishes. Use your fingers so it's absorbed better from the skin. Now it's time to throw on some shades. Don't be colour shy. Using a blue pencil apply it to the back of your hand and transfer to the corner of your eye towards the middle of your lid. To set it, go over each colour with the same shade of powder with a fluffy blush.

Take an iridescent shadow to draw along the inner corner using an eyeliner brush. Now take a pink eyeliner pencil and draw along the bottom waterline. Define your eyes with a swipe of black mascara on top lashes and use a bold blue for your bottom lashes. Now that you're done with your eye makeup put it all together with a candy pink lipstick that works well with most complexions and also with whichever hue you may choose for your eyes.

The grey jumper is a must-have, especially with the arrival of spring! It matches perfectly with pastel and soft colors, just like pink or light blue. Did you get one? #grey #jumper

These muted pastel colors are stunning for spring.  Some people really look forward to using brighter pastel colors on their nails for the season like baby blue or pale yellow. But I think that this kind of muted shades are also a great color choice, and they could look a little bit more chic on the nails.  photo credit: @beautytweet on Twitter  #nails #nailart #spring #pastel

Ice cream chic is a now thing and well before gelato season. Fashion's affinity for the pastel pile-up from the cones to the runway took the form of head-to-toe violet at Victoria Beckham, lemon sorbet at Hermés and pistachio hues at Sies Marjan and it's our Instacrush of the week.

At Helmut Lang, Shayne Oliver took blushing pink and morphed it into its adversary: fetishwear, while Raf Simons at Calvin Klein took baby blue babydolls and turned them into a Rosemary's Baby sinister version. This playfulness aesthetic came about at a year that yearns for aggressive celebration. Winter's metallics, feathers, glitter, rainbows and all round sparkle surrounding a Buz Luhrmann movie set, is the perfect testament to the celebratory moto.

Feel good fashion also was translated into pencil skirts and sheer layers that we can wiggle and shimmy in. Our staples like our trench coats, faux fur coats slip dresses and boots are receiving the joyful reincarnation of their own. Embellishments, diamonds, broaches, and lavish bandanas that would make any fashion girl sigh.

Stockholm Fashion Editor and street style extraordinaire Jeanette Madsen is an ice cream hue aficionado. She has the engaging ability to effortlessly combine pastel shades and evading the baby connotations at the same time.
