Absolutely loving this outfit choice from Mancunian fashion blogger @meganellaby on Instagram! The mix of different patterns and colours just works so well. Faux fur and studded accessories are very in this Autumn/Winter ‘17 season, so therefore are great options within the look. The colour clashing of the yellow, red and blue tones here is something very special indeed - so effortlessly cool!

Smokey eyes don't mean black eyeshadow all the time. Just like we see it in Olivia Palermo Colors like charcoal, dark brown or a deep blue-grey can create the same rich effect without the messy fall out that black eyeshadow is known for. Charcoal: I call this color, the sister of black eyeshadow. As a muted version of it, is more easy to work and blend if you make a mistake in your makeup. Dark Brown: If you are a smokey eye lover, this tone of eyeshadow is for you. Brown is a neutral that always looks natural and undone no matter what, so you would be available to rock your favorite eye look even at daytime. Blue Grey: For a switch of the same boring black eyeshadow, this color a must. A deep blue-grey, bring something mysterious to any eye look, especially on the evenings. Yes statement socks are now a thing. Ever since Vetements, fetishised athletic tube socks giving them a higher price tag, socks have become not just a practicality but an item that you actually want to show off.

The fashion pack took notice and contributed in absentia in the creation of multiple variations. Statement socks can be athletic think Vetements, Fila, Nike, they can look eye-poppingly patterned like Marni or Prada. They can be absolutely plain like the ones Rei Kawakubo employs against intricate designs for Comme des Garcons. Ricaardo Tisci goes for knee legth black or white socks for Givenchy. The street style stars have took this statement sock trend to heart - though for years it was considered a major faux pas.

The stylistic options are truly endless: Combine them with a classic white trainer, or a bright red sandal hel, try a very trendy boot with built-in sock (the sock boot). Try a sheer mesh ankle sock and pair it with stileto heels or mules like blogger Leandra Medine, or go for the full fishnet sock look and leave them peaking from a pair of ankle boots.

Transitional weather periods require transitional wardrobe. And one of the transitional weather absolute favourite staples is the trench coat. From royal, Kate Middleton to reality star Kim Kardashian West and blogger/ journalist Pandora Sykes (you are seeing the expansion of the fashion spectrum here, right?) are opting for multiple variations of the trench coat. Whether you choose the Bottega Veneta one that Lauren Bacall wore in the SS17 show or the uber trendy winter floral print at Michael Kors, this piece is bound to add more than a few points of elegance to your look.

There's great variety in form but most importantly in the fabric. High gloss details or full on shiny leather trenches. Tightly cinched or left in a looser silhouette. One of the most spot on colours for trench coats this season is khaki, but get ready for some impressive numbers in red, off-white, camel and baby blue.

Check our exclusive edit of the trench coats you need to own this season!
