Lisa is an accountant living in San Fransisco with her boyfriend and son. She's also the blogger behind Cosmetic Sanctuary. An online destination covering cosmetics and hair care and a very dedicated section on nail polish.

Everyone is still talking about the cute pregnancy announcement by Kylie Jenner, who after of 9 months of speculation and a social media cleanse broke the news of the birth of her baby girl. As any new mummy she's going to need all the help she can get. On the search for answers and a bit of entertainment, we have prepared a list of the funniest mummy bloggers around.

It's difficult becoming a new mom, probably one of the toughest jobs as it comes with no manual. At least that was the case until an array of mommy amateurs dominated the blogosphere sharing their pearls of wisdom, from activities to recipes and must needed rants. And though the role of the mummy blogger has evolved welcoming new ones every year, it's remained true in its core. In creating a community and a sense of comradery amongst young moms.

Here are the 7 mommy bloggers you should follow now!

PREGNANT CHICKEN

Pregnant chicken is like the title suggests a very well-written and funny mummy blog, created by mum of two Amy. She's kind of famous as she has been featured in Huffington Post, Babble and Scary Mommy. She used to be a creative director at an ad agency as well as a professional model in Ukraine.#232323">
#232323">
#232323">HONEST MOM

One of the most well-known mummy blogs is Honest Mum written by Vicki Psarias. She offers useful tips on parenting, lifestyle and fashion as well as being the mum of two. She's also written for an array of publications including the Huffington Post, Woman Magazine and Grazia daily. She's also an award-winning filmmaker, model and TV presenter!#232323">

Aby Moore created this blog to document her daughter's childhood after falling accidentally pregnant a month before starting IVF treatment. Her sleek and glossy blog is a great tool for fellow mum entrepreneurs who need a few words of inspiration. Aby is also a consultant and coach.
#232323">
#232323">FIT BOTTOMED MAMAS
#232323">
#232323">Jenn and Erin were passionate about creating a professional site about how to remain active fit and healthy during and after pregnancy. #232323">INCREDIBLE INFANT or MIGHTY MOMS
#232323">
#232323">If you're looking for well-researched, and factual articles about parenting this is the destination for you. This week Shopcade turns to influencer and author of the blog 'Ninety Percent Stardust' Rachel Reaney, for an instant fashion and beauty boost. Her blog chronicles her daily life, trends, travels and enviable skin beauty treatments. We caught up with the busy blogger, influencer and Communications professional to talk about creativity, morning routines and exotic destinations.

What compelled you to start your own blog and Instagram account?

I've always chosen photography and fashion as a medium to express myself and Instagram provides the perfect visual platform to do that. Multiple accounts on the platform have not only inspired me personally but have inspired me to start creating and sharing my own content and things that I love.

What do you enjoy most about the creative process?

For me, I really enjoy and find it relaxing to edit photos. I use VSCO to add the final touches to my photos such as adding a vintage grain or warmer tones using a filter. I use an app called Mosaico to plan the layout of my content.

What are the challenges and also the benefits of being a freelance content creator and influencer?

Luckily, I already work in social media so I feel the combination of working with brands as both a consultant and an influencer is very useful, as you can really understand both sides of the equation and how they can partner together in a collaborative way.

What are your non-negotiables regarding your wellness routine?

I'm a skincare junkie and for me feeling good about myself extends to how my skin is behaving. I try to eat lots of vegetables and drink as much water as I can but once a week I'll set aside some time to have some me-only pamper time. I'm currently a fan of beauty brands including Le Labo, The Ouai, Glossier, Nuxe and Rodin.

How would you describe your personal style? Do you have any favourite brands?

For me, I aspire to look low-key yet effortlessly put together. When it comes to my wardrobe I like to mix pieces from high-end designers on Yoox Netaporter such as Acne Studios, Staud and Nanuska with high street staples from Topshop, H&M or the occasional vintage find.

Which are your staples when it comes to dressing up in the morning? It's important to me to be comfortable in whatever I put on.

I tend to favour a good pair of jeans paired with a nude top or ruffled sleeved blouse. I'll then dress this up with gold jewellery and a statement bag.

You're always travelling. Which one of your recent destinations was the most memorable to you and why?

It sounds like a cliche but Oia in Santorini is one of the most beautiful and photogenic places I've ever been to. My next bucket-list destination is a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia.

What are you working on at the moment? Do you have any specific goals for 2018?

Keep on improving! I've recently upgraded my camera and am excited to take my photos to the next level. On a personal note, my goal is also to enjoy the little moments and joys that life brings - most often or not these aren't planned!

In light of the New Year I wanted to share a few of my favourite style crushes of 2017. They are in no particular order but the first - Megan Ellaby - is definitely up there as a long-standing fave. Manc gal Megan never fails to give me wardrobe envy. Megan makes clashing, bold patterns work. Colours and textures from velvet to heavy sequins are what Megan is all about. I would definitely recommend giving her blog and YouTube channel a go. Image credit: Instagram @meganellaby

This week Shopcade profiles Giorgina Clavarino, the influencer with the very poignant blog name entitled “Giorgina With an Eye”. The former Business school student talks to us about her dream closet, her collab with the playful Mira Mikati brand as she takes us through her morning routine and the elements that define her eclectic sense of personal style.

What compelled you to start a blog? I’m a hyperactive person, so unless I have 100 things to do I am not satisfied with what I have accomplished at the end of the day. The search for new challenges is what made me start my Fashion blog. In 2014, I was finishing my studies at Cass Business School in London and had lots of spare time, so I decided I would actively fill it up with something I was passionate about. I knew my studies at Cass were important because I’ve always dreamed of starting a business of my own one day. I also missed being more creative and having an outlet where I could just share what I loved, which is what my blog became. I had been following The Sartorialist for quite some time, and I loved how he shared photographs of street style in NY and loved how inspirational it was. I think this is what gave me the inspiration and the courage to test myself by starting a blog of my own, to share what I loved too!
#222222">
#222222">What's your relationship with fashion? How did it start and what motivates you to keep at it? I grew up in Milan, so fashion flows in everyone’s blood there. When you grow up in a city which is one of the world’s fashion capitals, you are indoctrinated with fashion from a young age. This probably explains why I was so into fashion since I was about 5. There is always the expectation to be flawless and up to speed with trends all the time. #222222">I think that the person that influenced my style the most however, has been my mother. She has always been a bit of a hippie, which is why since I was 10 I’ve loved wearing Minnetonka, boot cut jeans and have messy beachy hair. #222222">I remember my mother always used to buy stacks of magazines we would flick through together and rip off everything we loved and then make huge collages that I still have hanging in my bedroom in Milan. This then led to me creating my own scrap books, which I considered to be my own bespoke ‘Vogue’ editions, that my friends loved flicking through. The blog was then the evolution #222222">of the scrap book – a virtual version that I could share with more people. What keeps me going is my love for fashion. I know it sounds cheesy but it’s the truth. The creativity, the work, the influences that go behind the fashion industry, the way that you brand your products, the packaging, how you photograph it, the visions of the designers, the styling of the stylists, all the processes from beginning to end inspire me daily and are what motivates me to turn on my blog for a couple of hours a day and write something personal that made me think, laugh, smile, inspired that I want to share with other people.
#222222">
#222222">How would you define your personal style? Do you have any icons people accounts that you follow? When I moved to London my style changed a lot. I love Italian style, but it’s often too timeless and never too daring. Exactly the opposite of what I am, I always love wearing flamboyant clothes, whether it’s wearing a funky hat, a colourful pair of trousers, glittery shoes, or socks. In London you are more liberal, you can experiment with styles and are constantly influenced by different street styles, which in fact are my major influence. I love what people are wearing in the streets, I look at photographs and often attempt to recreate with my twist on what they are wearing. I love doing lots of stuff myself too, whether #222222">its dissembling an old pair of Levi’s, or sewing things onto jackets, designing my own jewellery. My other influences are Frida Kahlo, because I loved how colourful and exuberant her style was. She wasn’t afraid of being different, or better, of being herself. Jane Birkin, as she taught me how to look effortlessly cool with a simple pair of jeans and blouse. Kate Moss, because she always risked and wore the sickest clothes, from leather pants to colourful coats. And finally, to be more contemporary, #222222">I love ‘The Man Repeller’ and Leandra Medine. It’s an account I closely follow on Instagram, as I love how she combines clothes and never takes herself too seriously.
#222222">
#222222">What do you enjoy most about mixing and matching high street with high-end clothing?Proving that style goes beyond the brands you are wearing.
#222222">
#222222">How did the collab with Mira Mikati come about in Winter Wonderland? What are your favourite items from the latest collection and how would you style them? When I saw the collection I immediately imagined them to be captured in Winter Wonderland. Her clothes are so colourful that I wanted to put them in a fun and #222222">cool environment, that I could camouflage myself in. Every piece of Mira Mikati is very exuberant and colourful, so I would style them as I did on Instagram, with a simple pair of jeans to make the coats and jumpers stand out. I love colours in winter, but you must find a balance, so that the focus goes on the hero piece you are wearing e.g. the faux rainbow coat, or a yellow coat.
#222222">
#222222">Can you give us 3 styling rules that you abide by?
#222222">
#222222">1. Mom jeans

2. A pair of ‘70s converse that will go with almost everything

3. A lipstick that lifts every outfit
#222222">
#222222">Whose closet would you raid if you had the chance? Probably Leandra Medine.
#222222">
#222222">What's the biggest misconception about having your own blog? That it’s easy!
#222222">
#222222">What's your morning routine? I never wear lots of make-up, as I am too lazy and always too late to spend too much time on it. When I wake up though I always wash my face with Clinique Anti-Blemish Solution face wash, then clean my face with Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Toner and apply Clinique Anti-Blemish hydrant visage. I then add a very thin layer of Light Wonder by Charlotte Tilbury to give that fresh glow for the day and a bit of waterproof mascara by Eyeko. To finish I spray a bit of Twilly d’Hermes to be perfumed all day. I usually then have breakfast at work, which is either salmon on toast and a cappuccino or bread and Nutella. Life is too short to eat healthy all the time, especially in the mornings!

NYC born, Carolyn Compres is the author and Founder the C Statement and a contributor to Taste The Style. She's a Fashion Merchandising student, wife and mama of two who feeds on chocolate and vino. She's an amazing example of a young mum with an exquisite sense of style and our Influencer Focus this week! We caught up with Carolyn and talked about current go-to items, her personal style and all that behind-the-scenes-work that goes in maintaining a blog today.

What compelled you to start a blog?#500050">

I had always wanted to do it but it wasn’t until I gave birth to my first daughter and had to spend a lot of my time at home that I did it. I didn’t feel like I could be at an office from 9-5 because my daughter was too young and I just couldn’t do leave her (first baby problems). Doing this really made me think of things I could do from home and that I was still passionate about, and it occurred to me that I had always wanted to blog. I had a lot of fears, especially the fear of being judged but I got passed them and did it. I am extremely glad I did because I couldn’t be happier with what I have accomplished in a year.#500050">

What's your relationship with fashion? How did it start and what motivates you to keep at it?

Ever since I was a little girl I was extremely passionate about dressing up. I guess it started by seeing my mom and looking at her dress up, it just made me really interested in fashion. I used to collect Vogue Magazines back when I lived in the Dominican Republic and I knew I wanted to dress like those people I saw on the magazines. It’s not hard to keep motivated at it because I feel it comes naturally but sometimes I get a ‘fashion block’ just like writers do and that’s when it becomes a little harder.#500050">

How would you define your personal style? Do you have any icons people accounts that you follow?#500050">

I don’t have a definition for my personal style. I would like to think I am a chameleon, I am willing to try anything at all and I guess that what makes my style. When it comes to inspiration, my biggest inspiration is everyone and everything I see on the streets of NY. Instagram accounts that inspire me are @alwaysjudging and @mirandamakaroff. Both very different styles, but they inspire me in so many ways on a daily basis.#500050">

What do you enjoy most about mixing and matching high street with high end clothing i.e. from YOOX?#500050">

To me, it has always been about the clothing. It doesn’t matter what brands I am shopping or how much does it cost, all that matters is that I like it and I think that’s what I love about it. Using clothes that you are genuinely proud of wearing and not because someone is paying you or because it is socially acceptable to wear it.#500050">

Can you give us 3 styling rules that you abide by?#500050">

I don’t think there are any rules in fashion and that’s what I love about it. You should wear whatever you feel like wearing and forget about the rules.#500050">

What are your current go-to items when getting ready in the morning?#500050">

My current go-to items in the morning are my white Mango boots, my Gucci belt, and my Tory Burch sweater (Its freezing in NY).#500050">

What's the biggest misconception about having your own blog?#500050">

I think the biggest misconception about having a blog is that you need to wear certain items, or that you need to follow certain rules. Be yourself, be confident, and don’t give a shit about what others think.#500050">

What's your morning routine? (makeup beauty styling breakfast)#500050">

I love skin care, and it’s something I want to talk a lot more about with my audience. Although it might sound vain, but your face is so important because everything you do with it people will see. There is no covering up, although makeup helps it isn’t magic. That’s why having a good beauty routine is important, I am still learning about my face therefor not claiming to know anything about it but the most important thing about my morning routine is my skincare routine, I wash my face with Avène : Cleanance Gel, then I tone with Caudalie: Beauty Elixir, then I essence with SK-II: Facial Treatment Essence, then I use a serum from the Glossier 3 pack and then moisturize with Avène: Cleanance Expert, and finish with Milk Makeup’s: Cooling Water for under eye puffiness and  Sunshine Skin Tint which contains both SPF and a little bit of preservative free foundation. I am not a breakfast person but I always have a Starbucks Grande Nonfat Capuccino to go!

What projects are you working on now?#500050">

There are many exciting projects on the works. A lot of brand collaborations coming at the end of the month and then there are other personal projects I am little too superstitious to tell just yet.

One of the most prominent International bloggers and street style stars featured in WWD and Glamour, is a girl that really knows how to play to her fashion strengths. The Singapore street style star is a regular at fashion shows with her long brown locks usually sporting some kind of cool structured jacket minimal make up and a very easily flowing sense of style.

Her blog, Yoyo Kulala has become one of Singapore's must read. Last year she became the first fashion blogger to appear on Elle Singapore cover. Yayo is also a very successful designer and owner of the label Exhibit. Her latest endeavour is a collaboration with Matches Fashion, styling 12 shoppable looks alongside the likes of Leandra Medine and Garance Dore.

Her blog is expanding too. She's on the hunt for a regular staff of writers, videographers, and columnists to grow the site. What makes her style so enviable is that it's simple, elegant with modern touches that inform trends instead of following them. Want to incorporate her style? Look through our gallery for inspiration and shop her outfits in our edit below.
