Ever wonder what is it that people with healthy hair do to get their tresses so on point? Sometimes it's about more than just using the right shampoo. We looked to a few haircare experts to find out what to do to achieve that natural bounce, strength and shine...

Get haircuts on the regular

If your ends are splitting, be sure to book in for regular trims curb that breakage. Make your hair appointments every 6-8 weeks.

Go au naturel

Everyone needs a rest from time to time and the same goes for your hair. Let your hair dry without heated styling products if you can and take a rest from too much product. Let it all hang loose and avoid scrunching it up too.

Hair care also means scalp care

If you're itchy and constantly scratching your head that might be a sign. Dry hair, too much product and regular pulling or scratching can  traumatize your scalp. Try products that will enhance the health of the scalp and be kind to your hair.

Add protein to your diet

Hair is keratinized protein so adding it to your everyday meals will practically mean building more hair. Add some iron while you're at it, as iron deficiency has been linked to female hair loss. And for vegans there are a lot of yummy ways to add it too.

Condition your hair

You should incorporate a deep conditioner into your weekly hair care routine for extra hydration. There are many deep-conditioning hair masks that you can apply once a week for extra shine and healthy locks. We’ve listed a few we love below.

Nyx cosmetics is launching new yummy and cool duochrome lip glosses. I feel that this kind of glosses is the perfect lip topper for nude lips. I'm not a big fan of nude lipstick but with a duochrome gloss, I would definitely give it a go. That slight effect of something else in your lips could be very fun to wear.  photo credit: @nyxcosmetics on twitter  #beauty #makeup #lips #glossy

Maca's popularity has exploded the past few years. Despite being revered for its medicinal properties for years the maca root is taking over the health community as the latest superfood. Many influencers are adding it to their morning brew for an extra boost of energy and stamina.

The maca plant is a type of vegetable so powerful that it's sometimes referred to as Peruvian ginseng. It looks very similar to radishes and turnips with green tops and roots. Usually, the yummy tasting root is available in powder after being harvested. It has natural healing properties and has been consumed for years in the Andes as a safe superfood. The maca root powder is high in protein carbs and rich in a number of nutrient including vitamin C, copper and iron. It can also help the body adapt to external stressors like a busy schedule or illness.

RICH IN ANTIOXIDANTS

It has many health benefits mainly because it's rich in antioxidants meaning it can neutralise harmful free radicals fighting off disease and preventing damage to cells including ageing.

ENHANCES MENTAL ABILITIES

A regular maca intake can improve energy, mood and memory. People that have been implementing it in their routine admit that they feel more awake, energized and driven to take on the day without the shakiness of a strong coffee.

BALANCES ESTROGEN LEVELS

Many women suffer from estrogen imbalance levels including bloating irregular menstrual periods and mood swings. Maca, can control the amount of estrogen in the body and also can relieve the symptoms of menopause. Start with one tablespoon of maca powder daily and increase it up to two or three tablespoons throughout the day. You'll notice an increase in energy so it's best to take it before exercising or starting a demanding day. If you're already researching for the best maca powder, don't worry we have rounded them up all for you.

A stylish friend or family member who’s pregnant is still stylish. It’s just her priorities have changed with impending motherhood and an ever-expanding bump. The Duchess of Cambridge, Pandora Skyes and Leandra Medine Cohen are all mothers-to-be who haven’t let their pregnancy dampen their sought-after style. They’ve simply been smarter with their fabrics and silhouettes and let their accessories do all the talking. Follow their lead and treat your mummy-to-be to gifts that reflect their personality.

A charm bracelet is an inspired choice because they can add their own charms and pass it down to their baby should they wish. Luxury beauty products they can pamper themselves at home with, maybe firming products to help them spring back into shape, will surely be appreciated. A changing bag will be on their baby list so you could surprise them with a designer choice they’d love but never buy for themselves or opt for a roomy, brightly coloured bag to eternally lift their spirits. For the little one on the way, think cute and fun and leave the really practical stuff to the parents and grandparents.  A rattle is a traditional choice, while witty baby-grows and metallic photo frames will create and display unforgettable moments.

Happy World Vegan Day! From Alicia Silverstone to Olivia Wilde, Ellen DeGeneres, and Lea Michelle are only a few of the celebrities that swear by veganism. Some started for health issues, for example, Wilde discovered she was lactose intolerant, others to gain glowing skin, whilst others did it for simply loving animals. But how easy is it to go vegan and where do you start?

Transitioning to a vegan diet can be challenging so one of the best ways is to start slow and decide on a method that works best for you. We've rounded up the best tips to go vegan today.

1. Research

Learn as much as you can about how you can nourish your body based on a plant-based diet and start familiarising with reading ingredient lists on the back of products. Start paying attention to new and potentially yummy vegan products at your local grocery store and keep informed about health benefits that might motivate you to stay vegan.

2. Add Products to your Diet.

Instead of fearing the items that you will have to subtract from your diet such as meat and dairy products focus on adding all of the items you'll have more of such as: Whole grain, beans, legumes, nuts, seeds, and tofu into your diet. Start collecting and experimenting with vegan recipes that appeal to you. Find a non-dairy alternative such as almond or soy. Experiment to discover which option you like best.

3. Find your motivation to change and keep it.

It's will get increasingly harder when you get a burger craving, for example, keep your goal and motivation clear in your mind so you can ride through any craving ride.

4. Begin to plan your transition.

Going vegan can be daunting so why not try veganism first? Get used to subtracting meat, fish, and poultry from your diet without replacing them with eggs and milk for protein consumption. Instead, amp up your veggie protein intake.

This week our Instacrush is coming from the twins that turned from TV child stars to designers of great magnitude status. Marie-Kate and Ashley Olsen's brand the Row is truly a glam boho chic brand of wonders. Slouchy silhouettes, yummy comfy materials like cashmere and velvet or leather are employed intricately to produce little crafts that we all want to wear. Their pieces are quite extraordinary in their ability to combine luxury with a minimalist aesthetic.

The minimalistic luxe approach to clothing is also transferable to accessories. See our latest obsession: The Ascot Velvet Clutch by The Row. Fashion pack devotees include Net-A-Porter's Fashion Director Lisa Aieed to addken, and Instagram's Fashion queen Eva Chen. Although it's not a new addition it has just started gaining massive popularity, as the designers introduced the round handle bag in a multitude of color hues, that emphasize the bag's dimension and luxe feel: mustard. burgundy, royal blue, pure black and gold are defining a certain richness that can instantly elevate any outfit!

We don't know what's going on with the insta fashion pack lately but there's seems to be an affinity towards complex carbohydrates. First it was delicious, colourful plates of pizza employed as props of various insta imagery. Then Youtube followed with an array of digital productions on the pizza diet, eating pizza for every meal, or the pizza challenge. But let's face it. Pizzas as props are quite big, they take up most of the image space while a fork full of pasta is probably more convenient. Enter the Pasta craze!

Is our health food, detox smoothie craze has reached an all time 'we can't handle it anymore' status? So we turn to the diets worst original enemy, carbs? We can't be sure. All we know is that Pizza's Italian, carb-friendly buddy is having a serious moment on our Insta feeds. Pasta on location, full plate of delicious pasta, pasta close to mouth with fork held by hand with sparkly jewellery, pasta art is also big! Expect to see Chiara Ferragni, Tina Leung, Patricia Manfield and Mirta Michelle enjoying a mouthful of yummy pasta on holidays!

Ready for your pasta close up? Then head to our gallery for more tips on how to curate your online pasta eating presence! Not into posing next to pasta but love the imagery? Time to indulge in a few food inspired merch! Shop all the looks from our exclusive edit below!

Its time to hibernate. Its getting cold and time to be cosy so prepare for hearty winter stews, pasta, healthy soups and not so healthy but must have freshly baked, melt in the mouth cookies and warming hot drinks to keep the cold at bay.

PASTA

The simplest of recipes, pasta is perfect and has so many variations and combinations. Carbonara and Bolognese are both perfect winter warmers. Find some great recipes and pasta ideas on @ pastagrannies and @padella for the ultimate pasta inspiration!

PIES

Pies are so hearty and ideal for winter! Pile on the carb with some traditional steak and ale pie, or a great classic shepherds pie that is both filling, and nutricious. Jamie Oliver has some fantastic recipes ideas, or head to Delia Smith for the traditional enthusiasts!

SOUPS

A great healthy way of keeping those necessary vegetables and vitamins in your diet! They are low in calorie intake and can be prepared in advance in a big batch and frozen to last for weeks! Try amazing recipes from pumpkin to chicken noodle or chinese dumpling broths.

COOKIES and BAKING

Two words: MARY BERRY, the queen of baking. You’re bound to find some great bakes here. Apart from being extra yummy, baking is actually a great past time with the kids or makes for a fun night in with mates. Maybe you can try your own bake off this weekend instaed of heading to the pub!

HOT DRINKS

This must be easiest of the lot for winter warming! We all love a cup of hot chocolate but this season spice it up and add a bit of turmeric to your hot drinks, try a vanilla chai or  pumpkin spice!

There, all your winter warming ideas! Browse through our edit below and get all of your winter recipe essentials!

1. There is no such thing as a "gut instinct".

Seriously, does anyone actually have those? Because us indecisive people don't, and are extremely sceptical that it's an actual thing. What do you mean you just had a feeling

2. Figuring out where to eat has ruined relationships.

You and your ex broke up when he finally had enough of you not being able to decide between pizza and pasta. You know that whatever you order won't be right, and you'll wish you went for the other option. When someone asks you "where shall we eat" you literally want to scream at them to make a decision- because you won't, or can't. There's just so much yummy food out there. Just gimme all the foods.

3. Getting dressed in the morning is a challenge.

You spend a lot of time just staring aimlessly at your wardrobe. Becoming rich and famous so you can have a stylist to make decisions for you is the only option.

4. To go out or stay in is a question that ruins your weekend.

Every. God Danm. Weekend.

5. You ask 10 people what you should do before doing it.

Getting feedback from all your friends and family makes you feel better about deciding on things. Like whether you should go to the cinema or to the gym. Or if you should leave your job or ask for a promotion. Or whether your partner is the love of your life. I'm kidding, indecisive people don't really leave the fate of their lives up to other people...ok sometimes we do.

6. Trivial decisions feel like life or death.

"What ice cream flavour do you want?" is often met with panic, despair, tears, tantrums until your finally settle on vanilla. And then wish you'd got chocolate.

7. You buy things in every colour.

Don't know if you want that dress in white, black or navy? To save you the fuss of deciding, you end up buying all three. This is why you're broke. Your indecisiveness is making you poor.

8. Pros and Cons lists are your BFF.

You make them for everything. And then usually ignore them, because you can't decide if they work or not.

9. You feel super proud of yourself when you make a decision.

Well done, you decided what nail varnish colour you want. It didn't take an hour. The manicurist can't work out why you look like you've just won an olympic gold medal, but don't let her quizzical look ruin your moment.

10. Life is way more complicated then it needs to be.

At your core you're a people pleaser, and that's why making decisions takes so long. You don't want to upset anyone, or yourself. For small decisions it's not that big a deal, but when you're deciding on something life changing it can make things really, really, really, difficult.

Do you know how long it took me to decide on 10 points? An indecisive person writing an article on indecisiveness is a recipe for disaster.
