Thanks to Prada, fur hemlines are now everywhere. On the hemlines of skirts and tops, this style is perfect for the holidays. Style the fur hemlined skirt with a silk top to wear it on new years. Or you can try out the fur trend with sweaters with fur details and style it with your jeans to wear it casually. Opt for the dark coloured furs to make a more understated style or go bold with bright coloured furs. Don’t forget to make sure the fur is faux! #fakefur #fauxfur #fur #furhemlines #prada #streetstyle #fashion #trend

Fake fur is the way and Bella Hadid is the way. Don’t you girls think that we need to push fake fur more than the real one? Even Gucci has recently announced they won’t have fur anymore in their collections! #fakefur #coat #bellahadid #gucci

London Fashion Week kicks off today with its showing for SS16 and we are getting giddy at the thought of it here at Shopcade HQ.

Sure, it's 5 days of little sleep, surviving on coffee and pro plus with blisters the size of melons on your feet, but it's fashion week... no pain, no gain and I'm nothing if not realistic about the highs and lows!

Here's our guide to the 5 shows to watch out for this season...

1. Burberry Prorsum: The hottest ticket in town with good reason; a killer FROW, the hottest models and a collection which can spark a global trend. Need we mention the blanket cape?

2. Versus: Announced in January, this is one of the most anticipated debuts at this season's fashion week. Expect a major FROW, plenty of flesh on show and some turns from some famous faces on the runway.

3. Topshop Unique: Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, Alexa Chung and Jourdan Dunn sat FROW in Feb and the show brought social and London to a standstill. This season you will be able to shop the FROW the day after. Nothing like catwalk to closet in one swift move.

4. Hunter: After an exceptionally beautiful and dramatic showing from Creative Director Alasdhair Willis (Stella McCartney's hubby no less) in February, expect a lighter, more playful vibe for their SS16 offering. After all, the great British weather ensures we need wellies all year round!

5. Ashish: A must for true fashion rebels; every season this becomes more of an event rather than just a show. Last season he brought out everyone's animalistic side- plenty of fur and sequins, with a healthy dose of sex. How does one follow that? Well, we don't have long to wait until we find out!

I've seen the future and it's going to be full of sequins!

Well, it is if Boohoo have anything to do with it that is- theirs is a collection that has gone for the full on WOW factor with enough glitter and gold to appease even the most hardcore fashion magpies.

Did you know retailers work on collections up to six months in advance? So if you thought Christmas in July was crazy, imagine thinking about the festive season in February!

The Key Pieces To Look Out For

1. Tulle Skirt: As predicted months ago by team Shopcade, tutus are back and currently dropping on Boohoo already. We're holding out for the white version however- perfect for the winter months.

2. Baroque Print Coat: Yes, it's loud but what a statement piece! The print is also available in a dress and skirt in case this is overkill for you.

3. Wine Velvet Boots: Tucked away a bit, but wine is set to be a massive colour for AW15 as is velvet. Combine the two and you have a winner!

4. Sequinned Sweat: Novelty goes luxe this year with a sequinned slogan sweat. We'll all be rocking a 'Santa Baby' jumper come November, mark our words.

5. Cami PJ Set: Cute silky short sets and wraps will be snapped up for plenty of stockings this Christmas.
