Even the biggest health nuts are prone to these bad habits, but as we enter 2018 it's time to live your best life yet! There are all of those tiny things we tend to do without even noticing that are seriously diminishing our quality of life. But we can take back control by simply acknowledging them. Here are a few examples of no no's:

1. Taking your smartphone everywhere: Even the bathroom because you get separation anxiety. We promise the world will not crumble if you don't have access to your phone for a few minutes.

2. Holding on to grudges. It never helps to hold it in. Excuse the pun. Release your frustration and move on. You have more important things to do.

3. You avoid confrontation. Just like the previous point, you have to express your issue to another person with regards to finding a solution. Problems don't go away by themselves unless we confront them head-on.

4. You postpone health checkups. Yes it's boring and you rather spend your free time doing much more exciting things than waiting in line for your GP but early detection can save you.

5. Binge-watching Friends on Netflix instead of meeting your actual friends.

6. You rely on social media for a self-esteem boost: Blogger Leandra Medine said it best in a recent interview. "Posting on Instagram constantly is a cry for help. I used to post more often when I felt bad about myself." There's no button for self -esteem it takes time and social media are irrelevant. Instead, re-connect with your close friends and family for the perfect self-care boost!

Are you ready for a social media cleanse and a little pampering time? Shop your detox essentials from our expert edit below!

Thanks to Chanel, we are now obsessed with two-coloured shoes. The classic slingbacks designed by Coco Chanel was re-introduced to fashion last season and almost every single blogger and fashion influencer in the world were wearing these kicks. In Spring Summer 2018, this style is reinvented by many brands and designers. If you’re in between two colours when you’re choosing an outfit, these will save your life! You will be wearing two colours in one shoe! #shoes #trends #outfit #style #chanel #cocochanel #twotone #colours

Pernille Teisbaek is a reason why Scandi style has become so covetable all of a sudden. Originally a stylist-cum-blogger turned streetstyle star with a knack for cool layering combinations, the stylish Dane co-founded influencer talent agency Social Zoo and released a book titled 'Dress Scandinavian' released last year. Teisbaek also managed to find time to have baby and get married in 2017 as well while staying true to her individual style, documenting the whole thing for her 519k instagram followers. Her brand new capsule collection in collaboration with Danish brand By Malene Birger, a netaporter exclusive, just dropped so you can buying into her infectious charm immediately.

So who better to turn to for winter dressing tips? After all, Teisbaek is based in cold Copenhagen and has made wrapping up tastefully an art form. A scroll down her instagram feed reveals that many of her recent looks revolve around a nonchalant oversized jumper, sleek bottoms and statement-making accessories. It’s effortless day-to-night dressing that you can slip a thermal vest or heat tech leggings on under if you wish, and she’s definitely not afraid to show a little leg.

We’ve recreated three of her best winter looks to shop in the edits below.

This week Shopcade profiles Giorgina Clavarino, the influencer with the very poignant blog name entitled “Giorgina With an Eye”. The former Business school student talks to us about her dream closet, her collab with the playful Mira Mikati brand as she takes us through her morning routine and the elements that define her eclectic sense of personal style.

What compelled you to start a blog? I’m a hyperactive person, so unless I have 100 things to do I am not satisfied with what I have accomplished at the end of the day. The search for new challenges is what made me start my Fashion blog. In 2014, I was finishing my studies at Cass Business School in London and had lots of spare time, so I decided I would actively fill it up with something I was passionate about. I knew my studies at Cass were important because I’ve always dreamed of starting a business of my own one day. I also missed being more creative and having an outlet where I could just share what I loved, which is what my blog became. I had been following The Sartorialist for quite some time, and I loved how he shared photographs of street style in NY and loved how inspirational it was. I think this is what gave me the inspiration and the courage to test myself by starting a blog of my own, to share what I loved too!
#222222">
#222222">What's your relationship with fashion? How did it start and what motivates you to keep at it? I grew up in Milan, so fashion flows in everyone’s blood there. When you grow up in a city which is one of the world’s fashion capitals, you are indoctrinated with fashion from a young age. This probably explains why I was so into fashion since I was about 5. There is always the expectation to be flawless and up to speed with trends all the time. #222222">I think that the person that influenced my style the most however, has been my mother. She has always been a bit of a hippie, which is why since I was 10 I’ve loved wearing Minnetonka, boot cut jeans and have messy beachy hair. #222222">I remember my mother always used to buy stacks of magazines we would flick through together and rip off everything we loved and then make huge collages that I still have hanging in my bedroom in Milan. This then led to me creating my own scrap books, which I considered to be my own bespoke ‘Vogue’ editions, that my friends loved flicking through. The blog was then the evolution #222222">of the scrap book – a virtual version that I could share with more people. What keeps me going is my love for fashion. I know it sounds cheesy but it’s the truth. The creativity, the work, the influences that go behind the fashion industry, the way that you brand your products, the packaging, how you photograph it, the visions of the designers, the styling of the stylists, all the processes from beginning to end inspire me daily and are what motivates me to turn on my blog for a couple of hours a day and write something personal that made me think, laugh, smile, inspired that I want to share with other people.
#222222">
#222222">How would you define your personal style? Do you have any icons people accounts that you follow? When I moved to London my style changed a lot. I love Italian style, but it’s often too timeless and never too daring. Exactly the opposite of what I am, I always love wearing flamboyant clothes, whether it’s wearing a funky hat, a colourful pair of trousers, glittery shoes, or socks. In London you are more liberal, you can experiment with styles and are constantly influenced by different street styles, which in fact are my major influence. I love what people are wearing in the streets, I look at photographs and often attempt to recreate with my twist on what they are wearing. I love doing lots of stuff myself too, whether #222222">its dissembling an old pair of Levi’s, or sewing things onto jackets, designing my own jewellery. My other influences are Frida Kahlo, because I loved how colourful and exuberant her style was. She wasn’t afraid of being different, or better, of being herself. Jane Birkin, as she taught me how to look effortlessly cool with a simple pair of jeans and blouse. Kate Moss, because she always risked and wore the sickest clothes, from leather pants to colourful coats. And finally, to be more contemporary, #222222">I love ‘The Man Repeller’ and Leandra Medine. It’s an account I closely follow on Instagram, as I love how she combines clothes and never takes herself too seriously.
#222222">
#222222">What do you enjoy most about mixing and matching high street with high-end clothing?Proving that style goes beyond the brands you are wearing.
#222222">
#222222">How did the collab with Mira Mikati come about in Winter Wonderland? What are your favourite items from the latest collection and how would you style them? When I saw the collection I immediately imagined them to be captured in Winter Wonderland. Her clothes are so colourful that I wanted to put them in a fun and #222222">cool environment, that I could camouflage myself in. Every piece of Mira Mikati is very exuberant and colourful, so I would style them as I did on Instagram, with a simple pair of jeans to make the coats and jumpers stand out. I love colours in winter, but you must find a balance, so that the focus goes on the hero piece you are wearing e.g. the faux rainbow coat, or a yellow coat.
#222222">
#222222">Can you give us 3 styling rules that you abide by?
#222222">
#222222">1. Mom jeans

2. A pair of ‘70s converse that will go with almost everything

3. A lipstick that lifts every outfit
#222222">
#222222">Whose closet would you raid if you had the chance? Probably Leandra Medine.
#222222">
#222222">What's the biggest misconception about having your own blog? That it’s easy!
#222222">
#222222">What's your morning routine? I never wear lots of make-up, as I am too lazy and always too late to spend too much time on it. When I wake up though I always wash my face with Clinique Anti-Blemish Solution face wash, then clean my face with Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Toner and apply Clinique Anti-Blemish hydrant visage. I then add a very thin layer of Light Wonder by Charlotte Tilbury to give that fresh glow for the day and a bit of waterproof mascara by Eyeko. To finish I spray a bit of Twilly d’Hermes to be perfumed all day. I usually then have breakfast at work, which is either salmon on toast and a cappuccino or bread and Nutella. Life is too short to eat healthy all the time, especially in the mornings!
#222222">
#222222">What projects are you working on now? Big projects are still TBC! So stay tuned to discover more in 2018!

There's a certain vintage quality to the craftsmanship of Manu Atelier. The products are a unique blend of constructivism with clear geometric cuts reminiscent more of a box that a bag yet the colours are inviting romantic and utterly ethereal. After the success of the Manu Atelier Pristine bag last season the brand has now released a multicoloured version featuring all the must have colour hues of the season: mustard, burgundy, emerald green and off-white.

Net-a-porter's Fashion Director Lisa Aiken has been a longtime supporter of the mid range designer bag and only yesterday was snapped sporting it in the streets of New York where she's attending the pre-Fall collections 2018. Other fashion supporters of the brand include blogger Loulou De Saison aka Chloe in Paris, fashion entrepreneur Babba Canalis in New York and stylist Faye Tsui in Hong Kong. We absolutely adore the multicoloured version as you can sport it with basically anything that's hanging in your wardrobe. Plus it makes for an excellent xmas gift for the undecided on colour.

With pregnancy annonuncements dropping one after the other among the fashion pack we thought it was time for a comprehensive guide on optimal pregnancy wear style. Fashion blogger Pandora Sykes strutted her big belly in a tight fitting red number on British Fashion Awards night, while blogger Leandra Medine proudly announced that she'e expecting twins after her 3 year battle with getting pregnant and misscarrying.

The rules of the past where loose baggy silhouettes were the only option for pregnant ladies are long gone. Usually there are a few good tips to follow: Embrace your belly fully by emphasizing it with figure hugging dresses and body con skirts. Accentuate your favourite features by sporting a dress or blouse with an empire waist and leave the rest flowing and easy. Finally go for fuul-on baggy like you have no cares in the world.

Winter season is beautiful and also one of the most challenging times to nail that comfortable chic outfit that will look amazingly elegant but will also let you brace the cold like a modern day heroine! In our endless quest for that elusive style combo we've come across many solutions.

One of our absolute favourites adorned by celebs in the late 90s and the fashion pack now is the dress over your pants, more specifically jeans. Scroll down your insta feed and you'll see Instagram Fashion Partnerships Director Eva Chen, Yasmin Sewell and blogger Leandra Medine in seemingly mismatched outfits of dresses over trousers that actually look great together.

Even though there are no styling rules to apply on this look try to keep items in the same colour palette so that you can result in a more cohesive outfit. (same goes for mismatched prints). Just select a long comfy dress and a pair of jeans and your ultimate Winter 2018 outfit is sorted!

One of the most prominent International bloggers and street style stars featured in WWD and Glamour, is a girl that really knows how to play to her fashion strengths. The Singapore street style star is a regular at fashion shows with her long brown locks usually sporting some kind of cool structured jacket minimal make up and a very easily flowing sense of style.

Her blog, Yoyo Kulala has become one of Singapore's must read. Last year she became the first fashion blogger to appear on Elle Singapore cover. Yayo is also a very successful designer and owner of the label Exhibit. Her latest endeavour is a collaboration with Matches Fashion, styling 12 shoppable looks alongside the likes of Leandra Medine and Garance Dore.

Her blog is expanding too. She's on the hunt for a regular staff of writers, videographers, and columnists to grow the site. What makes her style so enviable is that it's simple, elegant with modern touches that inform trends instead of following them. Want to incorporate her style? Look through our gallery for inspiration and shop her outfits in our edit below.

Happy Friday! We introduce you to a new instalment at Shopcade. Every week we will present an influencer, content creator or fashion muse that we find inspiring. #222222">This week we sat down with blogger and creator of Hues of White, Santina Harisson to talk about creating a blog in 2017, inspiration, morning routines and how to style denim!

#222222">
#222222">What compelled you to start a blog?

I founded huesofwhite.com in October 2016 as a way to express my love of Art, Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle. You will find chronicles of my daily musings and personal styling on huesofwhite.com. I also want to make people feel beautiful, confident in what they are wearing and inspire my readers through visual content and affordable clothing. My blog for me, represents who I am, a colourful, fun, likes to try anything kind of girl!
#222222">
#222222">What's your relationship with fashion? How did it start and what motivates you to keep at it?

I’ve always admired fashion from a young age and use to really enjoy trying on my mum’s vintage clothing and putting a little of her Chanel red lipstick on and thinking just how much I loved clothes! As I’ve always been interested in fashion and interior, I wanted to create an outlet where I could express my love for this industry. So whilst talking to my friend in PR early last year, the concept of Hues of White came about and I haven’t looked back since!
#222222">
#222222">How would you define your personal style? Do you have any icons people accounts that you follow?

My personal style is always evolving and the older I’m getting the better my decisions! I love to admire street styles and take note from these kind of girls. For me styling is all about working with what you currently have in your wardrobe whilst pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. My icons for inspiration are Lucy Williams, Aimee Song and Alexandra Spencer (she’s created the eclectic brand Realisation Par). Three different styles, three different takes on fashion but they wear things that identify to their personality!

You have an affinity for denim. What makes it special? And what do you look for in a quality denim purchase?

It’s no secret that I am a super huge fan of denim and they form an important piece to my wardrobe - I basically live in them if I’m honest! But what I think makes denim so special is that you can constantly find new ways to wear them. They are super versatile so I can wear the same pair in the day for a casual relaxed look and then completely transform them for an evening look, like these PAIGE jeans I am wearing from TRILOGY store, in London. I genuinely haven’t been able to take them off! The straight cut with raw hem is perfect for the AW17 trend and the quality of these are super sturdy so they don’t lose their fit. Which for me is the most important thing I look for when I purchase any kind of denim.
#222222">
#222222">Can you give us 3 ways to style denim?

To me, denim is the perfect base with which to pair anything that shows a little more or pushes you out of your comfort zone.

Going to work? Pair your jeans with a railroad-striped blazer and a T-shirt. It’s the perfect outfit equation for starting your day off right like I have here in my Paige Jeans from Trilogy Store.

For a casual look, try pairing bold accessories like a red scarf or bag, plus a printed top. It’s a sure fire way to make your jeans feel fresh.

Date Night? Slip on a pair of your statement heels teamed with either your favourite skinny or boyfriend style jeans, a lace top and you’re ready to start the night off right!
#222222">
#222222">What's the biggest misconception about having your own blog?

That it’s the easiest job in the world, because it’s far from that- it requires a lot of creative work and hours!
#222222">
#222222">What's your morning routine like?

Mornings at home are my favourite, and I love that I get to start the day how I want (it’s the only part of the day where I can slow down and enjoy my time!) My morning ritual normally includes playing a little music to get the day started off positively and I love making my own breakfast which tends to be a super bowl of ACAI in some form, mixed with fruit and granola (which my kids love!) whilst sipping a cup or two of coffee! I don’t wear a lot of makeup, and always try to keep it to a minimum but my morning routine is generally made up of tried-and-true look of natural makeup and gently waved hair and prepping my skin with REN’s gentle cleansing gel and supplement moisturising cream. I can’t live without these and pop them along in my bag wherever I go.
#222222">
#222222">What projects are you working on now?

Every time I get approached for a collaboration or get offered a job, I feel like it's a stamp of approval because it means my opinion matters so the products I have been working on mean the world to me. I have just finished working with Trilogy Stores on the perfect pair of Denim Pants for AW17 (here) but I am currently working with DUNE London to show you three ways to wear this season’s hottest boot trend and three ways to dress up sneakers! I am also currently working on something super special with REN and Olivia Rubin. So watch this space!
