Concert Grand
$361.00 $242.99
Concert Grand
Schoenhut's exquisite, small replica of a full-sized concert grand is a great choice for a child with serious musical aspirations. Its hinged top, when open, enhances the piano's lovely chime-like tones, the sound that makes Schoenhut toy pianos charming and unique. The lid is designed to raise and lower gradually, so as not to slam down on little fingers. Three full octaves provide a good foundation for the transition to an 88-key piano. Enjoyed by adults as well as children, this model is popular with professional toy piano musicians who use them routinely in performances. **Features:** * Includes Schoenhut's Learning System and bench * Learning System helps build child s confidence and develop basic playing skills * Dimensions: 24"e; x 27"e; x 25"e; * Weight: 34 lbs. * Ages 3 and up

Southern Citadel (For Concert Band) Concert Band
$19.95
Southern Citadel (For Concert Band) Concert Band
Citadel was composed to commemorate the 150th anniversary of The University of Kansas (1865 to 2015.) It begins with optional offstage chimes (one or two sets [opt.]) to depict the daily ringing of the bells in KU's World War II Memorial Campanile. Trumpets introduce a fanfare-like figure that quickly evolves into the opening theme of the work. As the music settles and becomes softer, a saxophone choir introduces a slower, more pensive middle theme intended to describe the university's academic nature. A quiet moment at the end of this section hints at the famous Rock Chalk Chant in solo horn before the chimes and fanfare return to end the work in a final, dramatic outburst of sound and color.
