Last week Amber Heard filed for divorce
from Johnny Depp and since then media outlets have run riot with a story that she'd been granted a temporary restraining order against the Pirates of the Caribbean
actor. Amber also claims she lives "in fear that Johnny will return."
Entertainment Tonight published court documents in which Amber says, "I endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse from Johnny, which has included angry, hostile, humiliating and threatening assaults to me whenever I questioned his authority or disagreed with him." The actress also touches upon Johnny's history with alcohol and drugs in the petition.
Johnny's ex-partner Vanessa Paradis has spoken out in his defence in a letter stating, "Johnny Depp is the father of my two children. He is a sensitive, loving and loved person, and I believe with all my heart that these recent allegations being made are outrageous.
"In all the years I have known Johnny, he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I live [sic] with for 14 wonderful years."
