This year's X Factor has certainly been memorable- plenty of producer gaffs, Olly making THAT deadlock error and Cheryl coming under so much criticism for her plunging weight- yes 2015's talent content has certainly been an interesting one!
Last night's final however redeemed itself with the right person taking the title- Louisa Johnson triumphed over Reggie 'N' Bollie, and rightly so.
The 17-year-old is the youngest ever winner and is already set to rake in the millions thanks to being A) amazing and B) actually likeable.
In the battle for the fashion crown, Cheryl for us had the edge all series- her red princess gown for the final was stunning, and left Rita looking a bit like she was wearing sparkly grey rags.
Of course, Rita is probably having the last laugh given she won the contest by mentoring Louisa and can probably negotiate a decent rise from Cowell if she comes back next year.
Also having the last laugh is One Direction, who after becoming the world's most successful boyband, chose their old stomping ground to play their final gig, with Twitter predictably imploding as a result.
Yes the awesome foursome are taking an extended break. Will they be back? Who knows. They have gone from strength to strength in five years, surviving a baby scandal, drug claims and Zayn walking out- if anything, they're resilient!
WATCH their FINAL performance above... but be warned, it's emotional!
