The final day of LFW has come around, and we can't quite believe this season is over. By day five the shows are more dispersed and the buzz is slightly less manic. But nonetheless, there was still quite a lot of fashion dramz, specifically at the David Ferreira show, which had nothing to do with the actual show but a certain, rather irate PR lady, read below for more...
12: 00 pm - 2:00 pm: The Point Blank presentation begins, and it's a mixture of sports luxe pieces, vibrant colours and glitter. The best part for me was the makeup looks, which were the best I've seen this season. With glitter detailing and an oily finish, plus wet look hair, it really meshed well with the presentation's theme 'Dive In'.
2: 00 pm - 4: 00 pm:
Back to Shopcade HQ for a couple of hours, which turns out rather dramatic- because we all find out that Brad and Ange
are no more.
4: 00pm - 5: 00 pm: Me and Sirina head off to the David Ferreira show, with our backstage passes in tow. We watch the models get bleached eyebrows and black wigs put on. One particularly sweet model chats to us, and asks us to take a photo of her. She then comes over to tell us she's found a maggot in her apple- nice.
5: 30 pm - 6. 00 pm: The show is about to kick off. Some guests trying to sit FROW without the right tickets get screamed at and asked to move, everyone goes very silent. A man behind us, just as the show begins, asks for the people beside him to sit on the floor so he can see. He was sitting 3rd row, FYI mate that's just part of shows, unless you're FROW it's unlikely you'll get a good view. I was sitting a row ahead of him, and wished I'd brought a hat so I could block his view, alas, I hadn't. The show begins, and the pieces are stunning. A pink feathered coat, a mesh detailed black dress, sequin trousers and embellished heels all catch my eye. It's an eclectic mixture of pieces, from gothic to ultra feminine, to metallic 80s inspired looks- one thing's for sure, you'll never be bored at a David Ferreira show.
6: 00 pm - 7: 00pm: Oliver Spencer's first buy-now show starts, and members of the Shopcade team spot David Gandy, Jim Chapman and Oliver Proudlock, they try their hardest to restrain from visibly swooning. The pieces are typically traditional and brilliantly tailored.
LFW SS17 is over, and we're already looking forward for the next season's shows...
