After months of rumours regarding her position as Creative Director at Vogue, Grace Coddington has officially announced that she will be stepping down from her role at the magazine.
The flame-haired 74 year old is planning to shift her focus to outside opportunities, although she will be maintaining a ‘creative editor at large’ position at Vogue, contributing to several stories a year.
“I’m certainly not going into retirement,” said Ms. Coddington in an interview with industry website Business of Fashion, stating “(It) will be nice to collaborate, and nice to go out (and) give talks to people. It’s just another approach”.
Some of her outside projects include creating a perfume with Comme des Garçons (due out in April), releasing another book about her time at Vogue, and overseeing a film about her 2012 autobiography “Grace”.
