Dresses with scoop backs or bodysuits with low backs are the perfect summer pieces, but it's a place that a lot of women neglect when working out. Just because you don't see it in the mirror doesn't mean it doesn't deserve some TLC.
1) Strengthening your back muscles will make your posture much better, which can make you look slimmer without dropping any body fat. For a quick and easy workout just use a dumbbell, get in a staggered stance, and lift the weight towards the ceiling.
2) Assisted pull-ups are a great technique, because ain't nobody got time for unassisted ones. These work your arms and lower-back- look at it like a two for one deal... But definitely not as much fun as shopping!
3) Don't be afraid of weights, they're not synonymous with 'bulking'. If weights aren't your thing though, doing the plank with a lateral arm raise will tone your back. Increasing muscle mass boots your metabolism and helps burn fat, so get those dumbbells out girl...
