H&M have played a blinder once again. Fresh from the hysteria of Alexander Wang last autumn, its been confirmed that Balmain is set to be its next collaborator, and in true fashion style, the announcement was anything but quiet.
Arriving in Las Vegas last night for the Billboard Awards, Creative Director Olivier Rousteing confirmed the collaboration in the best way possible... by turning up with Kendall Jenner and Jourdan Dunn wearing designs from the collection.
Due to launch on the 5th November, we have an agonising wait to see the full range, but judging by the reaction to Kendall & Jourdan on the red carpet, we think it's safe to say H&M have signed up another runaway success.
It was also a good night for Balmain overall, as they dressed many of the leading ladies- including the star of the show- Taylor Swift who rocked their SS15 white jumpsuit and Kylie Jenner who also debuted a piece from the H&M collection.
A master of social media advertising, Rousteing teased the collab on social media ahead of the awards posting: "THE WORD IS OUT #secretrevealed join MY new ARMY #HMBALMAINNATION #areyouready?"
In a word, YES! Stay tuned for more deets as they roll in, but in preparation we highly advise booking time off work now and start saving... this could well be the biggest collaboration EVER. Don't say we didn't warn you.
