Here's our crème de la crème of the trends we spotted and fell in love with on the first two days.
Simple and contemporary ethnic @ Raw Mango
Sanjay Garg's label Raw Mango is well known for its love of chanderi and Varanasi silk, and it remained true to that this year too. We were stunned by Aditi Rao Hydari, his showstopper in a simple black and gold lehenga set and super minimal makeup.
A riot of colour @ Krishna Mehta
Krishna Mehta's "Curious Alice" collection was a treat for the eyes if you love all things colourful! There's nothing like going to fashion week and having the pleasure to watch a collection of vivid colours on luxe, flowy outfits that look comfortable as ever.
An explosion of warmth @ Virtues
Virtues by Viral, Ashish, Vikrant absolutely had to make it to this list, as its beautiful, warm, earthy terracotta tones had us floored! Singer Sona Mohapatra served as the captivating showstopper for this show, crooning some of her biggest hits as she sashayed down the runway.
Luxe comfort @ Shruti Sancheti
Shruti Sancheti's collection was the very embodiment of comfort, as it was filled with breezy flowy maxis, and effortlessly stylish baggy pants. We also loved that it didn't stick to one colour palette, but explored different tones of grey, blue, pink, and olive.
Floral bonanza @ Ashima Leena
Asheema Leena's collection gave us major goddess of earth, boho girl vibes, what with all the florals, earthy tones, and flowy silhouettes. We loved the use of hats in this collection too. Very country chic!
