After filling up on film sets and tasty treats, head to the Mercure London Watford Hotel and relax after a busy day. Stay in a double or twin room, with complimentary WiFi and TV. Take advantage of the hotel's pool and fitness suite during the stay and enjoy a buffet breakfast before checking out. Roaming the city with an experienced tutor who has great knowledge of the area, discover the best points in the city for taking pictures. Throughout this two hour class, the tutor covers best practise on how to use a tripod, shutter speed light effects, how to use aperture settings to optimize night-time photography and how to use the ISO and white balance features on the DSLR. Using new techniques and settings, take some great imagery of Nottingham. Availability: At least one Wednesday or Thursday evening per month between September and April (due to the late summer sun, this experience doesn't run between May and August). Each player is given a full safety briefing by an experienced marshal before commencing play. This is a real chance to shake off day-to-day responsibilities and rekindle a spirit of adventure. There are between six and eight games included in the full day experience, played out within differently themed areas and zones, set up to test skills of strategy, leadership, navigation and teamwork. Begin with a comprehensive briefing on these extremely heavy, powerful and unusual vehicles, and then jump into an ex-Army Land Rover Defender used in Northern Ireland up until 2011 for 15 minutes of driving on an off road course. Then take control of a huge 15-tonne military tank complete with turret and machine gun on the same course, before taking the wheel of a DAF military truck. An 8x8 Argocat with low ground clearance comes next, similar to the tank in that it runs on treads but otherwise a unique experience. Then it's time to get back on road and take a Dennis RS V8 fire engine for the final drive around the venue's perimeter.
